About Us
Manumission Skin Care was founded to bridge the gap between what specialty grooming companies and mass market conglomerates were offering versus the basic skin care priorities that active, on-the-go men were seeking. Accordingly, before Manumission Skin Care, the marketplace presented less than ideal skin care and grooming options for men:
Rather than market skin care products to men that lacked confidence (spending big money on advertising insecurity), Manumission Skin Care would focus on men with highly competitive traits that were already secure with themselves - in other words, “men who get it done.” These men valued products that were best in class regardless of celebrity endorsements or anything that wasn't related to a products true functionality and benefit.
Manumission Skin Care was officially launched in conjunction with the UFC Fan Expo on Memorial Day Weekend, which was fittingly appropriate as many of our product testers came from the MMA world (military members were also a significant help with our product testing). - Alcohol and Paraben Free
- Made in the USA with Natural and Premium Ingredients
- Contains Tea Tree Oil and Eucalyptus Oil Recognized For Their Anti Viral Properties
- Military Grade - Battle Tested Around the World in Diverse Climates and Conditions
- Extensive product lines that make grooming into a part time job, which seem geared toward individuals with a lot of time and inclination to stare at themselves in the mirror.
- Exaggerated marketing messages that have nothing to do with real, practical product functionality (like hydrating the skin). Instead they promote far-fetched fantasies, such as sudden wild appeal to hordes of models.
- Big brand women’s beauty companies that repackage their products to be “masculine”, but are inherently made for female skin, no matter how many times game-time commercials try to convince otherwise.
- Expensive and overly fragranced specialty products for men that are either drying or leave greasy residue.
A No Hassle and Real Results Skin Care Routine. Focused, Tested and Proven.
This unresolved, growing need was the catalyst that led Dan Ostrower, whose family has been in the cosmetic industry for 60 years, to start Manumission Skin Care for Men.Rather than market skin care products to men that lacked confidence (spending big money on advertising insecurity), Manumission Skin Care would focus on men with highly competitive traits that were already secure with themselves - in other words, “men who get it done.” These men valued products that were best in class regardless of celebrity endorsements or anything that wasn't related to a products true functionality and benefit.
